They would also benefit from sitting at the feet of teachers from traditions with which they are not familiar. Poets need practises that help them connect the dots. Habits such as meditating daily on a sacred text could be of great value. Their relationship with God matures not only in understanding and reasoning about what they believe, but also in embracing truth in mystery.They need to move beyond reading the Bible, and let the Bible read them too.
